Alessandra Rueegger

Studio Associate/Teacher

I did my first yoga teacher training in 2010. I wasn’t really sure if I wanted to teach, but I was ready to add a new chapter to my story. I realized pretty quickly that the teaching and learning goes both ways between the yoga teacher and the student. This connection, this give-and-take, this way of creating community is one of my favorite parts of yoga.

When I am not working on a playlist looking for the best disco remix, a different way to get your buns of steel sore, or finding a new Mary Oliver poem to share in class I am probably cheering with my husband on a soccer field or a cross country corse for our 3 boys. Mt. Tabor is my favorite place to find my sanity (besides the yoga mat). I am up there almost every day either walking our two cute mutts or running. I love a good glass of pink bubbles, paired with cheese or chocolate or both. I am from Switzerland after all. My family and friends mean the world to me. I can’t wait to sweat with you.
