I fell in love with yoga as a teenager, and have been dedicated to my yoga practice since. I attended my first Hatha classes in a tiny, incensed, rainbow-mandala-tapestried backroom of a metaphysical shop in my hometown of Fresno, CA (shoutout Brass Unicorn!). In my early twenties, I worked at Blue Moon Yoga as a karma cleaner, while simultaneously practicing community yoga at the Fresno Retired Teachers Education Center (RTEC). After about a year of attending classes at RTEC, I became a volunteer Hatha yoga teacher there and helped provide accessible, low- and no-cost yoga to our community. 

In addition to being a yogi, I am also an intuitive energy healer. In May 2024, I received my Reiki II certificate (Firebird Healing Arts); and in October 2025 completed my Reiki Mastership training (Mystic Rose Medicine). As of June 2024, I am also certified mindfulness meditation teacher (Dharma Moon & Tibet House). In my energy healing work, I blend Usui Reiki, meditation, somatic movement, and sound healing to guide your nervous system toward more alignment and ease, amplify the body’s natural healing abilities, and encourage a deep sense of calm and safety. 

I found Firelight shortly after moving to Portland in September 2017, and am thrilled to see how this wonderful studio and community have blossomed over the years. I joined the team as Studio Manager in June 2023, and am grateful to have been welcomed by this very special group of people. It is a joy to be here, and I relish growing with our community both on and off the mat!
