Firelight Yoga is honoring Earth Day with a neighborhood clean-up, partnering with Solve Oregon and The Stacks Coffeehouse! Join us as a volunteer on April 20, 2024 and stay for a special class with Zach in the Spirit of Earth Day.

Event Details

2-part event on Saturday, April 20, 2024. Come for one or join us for both!

1. 9:30 – 11:30 am: Neighborhood clean up event in the Overlook and Arbor Lodge neighborhoods surrounding Firelight Yoga. Meet at Patton Square Park (5304 N Interstate Ave) as early as 9:00 am and enjoy free coffee from The Stacks Coffeehouse! We will provide you with all of the supplies you will need for the trash clean-up and will go over a brief safety review before getting started. Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Volunteers must register for this all-ages event. Coffee cups, lids and fixin’s will be provided, but we encourage you to bring a reusable mug to fill to support our sustainability efforts.

2. 12:00 – 1:15 pm: Special 75 min. Earth Day class with Zach. This is a donation-based benefit class with 100% of the proceeds going to SOLVE! Sign up through our class schedule and choose from the following amounts as your donation: $10, $20, $30, $40, $50, $75 or $100. SOLVE is an environmental non-profit, evolving from a grassroots initiative into a national model for volunteer environmental stewardship.
   
   In this longer-format Hot Power Vinyasa class, we will have the opportunity to dive deeper into less physical elements of your practice, including pranayama and meditation.
