Firelight Yoga is looking for a customer service extraordinaire to join our employee team in the role of Studio Associate.

WEEKLY STARTING SCHEDULE: 19.25 – 23.75 hrs/week
(With room for growth in the number of hours per week)

  • Thursdays: 5:15 am – 10:30 am
  • Fridays: 5:15 am – 10:45 am
  • Saturdays: 7:15 am – 11:30 am
  • Sundays: 3:30 pm – 7:45 pm
  • Tuesdays: 5:15 am – 9:45 am (While all of the above hours are required for this position, the Tuesday hours are optional. Adding these hours would bring this position up to over 20 hrs/week, which qualifies for Employer-sponsored medical/vision and dental insurance after 60 days of employment.)

  • Must have prior customer service and/or sales experience.
  • Prior experience working with Mariana Tek software is a plus, but not required.


  • Have the flexibility to pick up additional open Studio Associate shifts in the event of employee illness or time-off requests.
  • Are willing and able to work early mornings and weekends.
  • Looking for a long-term employment “home”.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS of Studio Associates include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Opening & closing duties, as scheduled for those shifts
  • Answering the studio phone, checking voicemails, returning calls & sending/receiving text messages through Brandbot in a timely manner
  • Applying friendly & professional customer service skills when interacting with students of the studio or through studio lines of communication
  • Welcoming & checking-in students for their classes, guiding new students in where to go & what to know before their first class
  • Ensuring liability waivers are signed as needed
  • Education and guidance of students to assist them with identifying which class packages suit their needs best
  • Handling retail & class package sales
  • Promoting studio events and announcements in communications with students
  • Keeping up with laundry & rental mat sanitization
  • Cleaning sinks, showers, and toilets in studio restrooms
  • General tidying/restocking of supplies
  • Deep cleaning throughout the studio spaces


$16.70 -$23.70/hour depending on years of relevant work experience in customer service and/or sales. History of working in a studio environment is a plus, but not required.
